The strange stories we tell ourselves, and how those stories shape the way we experience reality.

WHY DO WE ALWAYS WIN THE ARGUMENTS IN OUR HEADS?
I'm a technologist. I spend my working life in a world of logic: IF, THEN, ELSE. Yet the most fascinating system I deal with every day is the one inside my own head. It invents arguments that never happened, casts villains who aren't there, produces real stress over the whole thing, and somehow makes sure I win.
Each episode takes one of those stories and looks at it through Joseph Campbell, the Stoics, René Girard, Viktor Frankl, psychology, technology and everyday life.
I don't have the answers. I'm noticing something strange about being human and following where the question leads.
